It’s time to start getting excited for the 2026-27 college wrestling season.Iowa State men’s wrestling released its full 2026-27 schedule on Sept. 18. The Cyclones will begin the Brent Metcalf era on Nov. 1 vs. Bucknell at home at 6 p.m.Also revealed in the schedule drop were the key rivalry dates for the Cyclones. Iowa State will travel to Iowa City for the Cy-Hawk dual on Nov. 22. On Feb. 12, Iowa State will hit the road for a rivalry matchup vs. Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.Starting times and TV assignments for the ISU vs. Iowa and ISU vs. UNI duals will be announced at a later date. Also of note, the Big 12 announced this season that it will crown a Big 12 regular-season champion in addition to the annual Big 12 Championships and postseason qualifier.
