​Following a breakout year in 2025, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Antonio Johnson was among the players to receive votes in Jeremy Fowler’s top safety rankings ahead of the 2026 NFL season.What makes Fowler’s rankings unique is that they are constructed with the input of 70 NFL execs, coaches, and scouts as the voters. He graded out well as a run defender by PFF’s metrics, held pass catchers to under 10 yards per reception this season, and came away with five interceptions and three pass breakups.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAs productive as he was last year, Johnson’s impact goes beyond the stat sheet. He brings a versatile presence to Campanile’s defense, allowing him to be moved around and fill a variety of different roles.Because of Johnson, Campanile can throw different looks at opponents, and Johnson’s do-it-all skill set provides Campanile with added flexibility as he builds out game plans.”Cool thing about him is he’s had a lot on his plate,” Campanile said during offseason programs. “Maybe more than even some other guys because Antonio plays both safety positions, nickel, dime, he does a lot.
