The Jacksonville Jaguars have plenty of players with a lot of hype heading into training camp, but none more so than Travis Hunter. The sophomore star appeared to be on his way to breaking out offensively as a rookie, but a knee injury cut his season short. He has since undergone surgery and spent the offseason rehabbing, and there is no shortage of excitement to see how he performs upon his return.Ahead of training camp, quarterback Trevor Lawrence appeared on ‘The Brent and Austen Show,’ where he discussed each of his four wide receivers and what they bring to the table. For Hunter, Lawrence said that he has plenty of skills to recommend him, but one in particular stood out.Trevor Lawrence breaks down the unique skill set of each Jaguars WR and explains how they all make his job easier at QB:Full interview🎥: https://t.co/kk8V3Ed4Uupic.twitter.com/nlQCQv58oM— Austen Lane (@A_Train_92) July 28, 2026″I’d say if I had to pick one thing… yeah, you throw it near him, he’s gonna go catch it,” he said. “Obviously, he’s got speed, too; he’s fast, can break tackles, shifty underneath when he gets the ball in his hands. Got a great feel for zones as well. But I’d say the biggest thing is just his ball skills are really, really impressive.”The Jaguars struggled a lot with drops last season, which may be why Lawrence values Hunter’s ball skills so well. It also gives Lawrence the ability to throw the ball to Hunter even when he might be under heavy coverage, because he knows Hunter will find a way to catch it.It’s still not known for sure what Hunter’s workload will look like at wide receiver this season, but he will factor into that equation, and when he does, it’s safe to say that Lawrence will be happy to have him there. This article originally appeared on Jaguars Wire: Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence identifies Travis Hunter’s most impressive trait
