Dear COYS,
I am writing this with heartfelt gratitude for all the kindness and support you have shown me throughout my time at this special club. Representing Tottenham has profoundly impacted my life, both professionally and personally, and I will carry that with me forever. I have always tried to repay, in the best way I could, the affection, respect, and trust you have shown me, on and off the pitch. As I’ve said before, what defines a great institution and a great football club is its supporters. Players, managers, and directors come and go, but the fans remain. You are the ones who keep this club’s flame alive season after season. I must also extend special thanks to my teammates, the club’s directors, the fitness coaches, the entire medical staff, and especially my dear Alessandra Massimi. London has given me more than a professional career; it has given me two homes that I will always carry in my heart. With the utmost respect and gratitude, I bid you farewell. Players come and go at clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. Yet only a few truly grasp what it means to wear this badge, play in this stadium, and perform for these supporters. It was a challenging year with its ups and downs, but Palhinha’s legacy at Tottenham could endure, much like a cult hero who leaves a lasting impression and remains forever COYS in the memory of the fans.
