This week, Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Mauer.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Mauer discusses his participation in this year’s American Century Championship, which will take place July 10-12 at Edgewood Tahoe and air on NBC and Peacock. He commented on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes being one of his favorite players to watch.
“I’m always excited to get that call,” said Mauer, “It’s a great event (American Century Championship), and I always tell people, I’m from Minnesota, born and raised, and there’re not many people, or not many places that I would leave Minnesota in mid July for, but South Lake Tahoe is one of them.”
