After this summer’s tournament, the DFB shifted the plan from Julian Nagelsmann to Jürgen Klopp. On Thursday night, Klopp opened his tenure with a tense 1-1 draw against the Netherlands.In the postgame interview (captured via @iMiaSanMia), Jonathan Tah praised Germany’s efforts given the changes in coaching and tactics.“We brought fire, intensity, and energy to the game,” said Tah. “Not everything was perfect, neither with nor without the ball, but we didn’t expect it to be. The point was to show that we wanted to present a different side of ourselves on the pitch and make a new start. That was the first step.”Germany was outplayed in most aspects of the game but managed to secure a valuable point against their toughest opponent during this international break.
