During The Joe Rogan Experience, Gaethje mentioned, “I’ve been infamous for being quite demanding on these refs since one is anticipated to be flawless.” Their primary responsibility is to safeguard you. In my bout with Michael Chandler, I’ve never received an apology from the referee. “He [Chandler] jabbed me in the eye, and the referee didn’t intervene.” He permitted him to strike me with a substantial blow, and afterward, he did not allow me to regain my composure.
