Juventus see opening offer for Pellegrino turned down by Parma

Reports from Italy indicate that Juventus have submitted an opening bid to Parma for centre-forward Matteo Pellegrino, a bid that has reportedly been rejected by Parma’s Gialloblu. With Dusan Vlahovic’s contract having expired, Juventus are actively searching for a new striker and, after engaging in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Randal Kolo Muani, recent coverage suggests the Turin club is shifting its focus toward Pellegrino from Parma.
The Old Lady of Italian football has already added 19-year-old Jeff Ekhator from Genoa to their squad, but they remain keen to bring in another attacker who offers greater experience. Juventus are also said to be open to offers for forwards Jonathan David, Lois Openda, and Arkadiusz Milik if opportunities arise.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have sent Parma an opening proposal for Pellegrino, who is attracting interest from the Premier League and La Liga in addition to Serie A. Juventus’ proposal reportedly involves an initial loan arrangement with a conditional obligation to buy set at €30 million. The buy clause would be achievable under certain performance criteria, potentially tied to a top-half finish in Serie A in the following season.
Photos from Parma, Italy, show Pellegrino during a Serie A fixture at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, illustrating the striker’s current focus amid the transfer chatter. While this initial offer appears to have been rejected by Parma, insiders say the two sides are not far apart in valuations. Pellegrino is believed to be receptive to a move, with Parma reportedly looking for a fee around €30 million. However, Parma would want the fee upfront, or if proceeding with a loan, they would require a larger loan fee.
Calciomercato.com reports that discussions between Juventus and Parma are set to resume within the next hours as the sides seek to settle terms. The evolving dynamic around Pellegrino’s potential transfer continues to capture attention, with Juventu’s willingness to adapt their forward line amid their broader transfer strategy. The possibility of a late loan-to-buy arrangement remains on the table, contingent on Parma’s financial expectations and Juventus’ ability to meet them.
As the situation develops, Juventus’ current plan to bolster their attack is clear: if a deal for Pellegrino can be structured in a way that satisfies Parma’s demands and aligns with Juve’s financial framework, the 25-year-old forward could become a key piece of the club’s pursuit of a proven scorer to complement their already young talent pool. With competition from top European leagues, Pellegrino’s decision will hinge on a combination of contract terms, playing opportunities, and the potential for long-term growth at Juventus. Fans and analysts will be watching closely as Calciomercato and Tuttosport continue to report updates on the evolving negotiations between Juventus and Parma.
