​Kaden Honeycutt made a statement in the second race of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Chase. The driver of the No. 11 drove to victory in Saturday’s Race to Stop Suicide 200 at the Kansas Speedway in dominant fashion. Honeycutt fended off fellow championship contender Layne Riggs on a few late-race restarts to secure his third win of the 2026 season and third career win overall. After significant contact with the wall in the closing laps, Riggs slipped to 19th in the final running order, enough to lose the points lead to Honeycutt with five Chase races remaining.The race saw a four-hour, 47-minute red flag period at Lap 69 of 134 due to inclement weather. Prior to the lengthy red flag, Honeycutt set the tone through the first half of the race as the driver of the No. 11 swept both stages, garnering a massive 20 stage points towards the championship battle.Riggs hung tough through the first two stages. After starting from the 22nd position, the driver of the No. 34 rolled through the field in the 30-lap Stage 1 to place third. Riggs stayed in contention through Stage 2 and placed runner-up behind Honeycutt. However, Riggs was shuffled back in the pack after a pit stop miscue after the conclusion of Stage 2. There were three cautions throughout the first 69 laps for cause. Connor Hall had two separate spinouts on the backstretch in his No. 4 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet that brought out cautions. At the beginning of the final stage, a multi-truck incident involved Leland Honeyman Jr., Stewart Friesen, Daniel Dye, Clayton Green and others.
