Kamario Taylor among Mississippi State football players at SEC media days

   ​STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football’s players at SEC media days will be Kamario Taylor, Anthony Evans III and Kelley Jones.The 2026 SEC media days runs from July 20-23 in Tampa, Florida. The Bulldogs, along with third-year coach Jeff Lebby, will appear on July 23 with Arkansas, LSU and Texas.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementTaylor is entering his first season as Mississippi State’s full-time starting quarterback. The former four-star from Noxubee County played some as a freshman last season and then started the last two games against Ole Miss and Wake Forest.Taylor was carted off the field in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl against Wake Forest, but was a full participant in spring practices.Evans led the Bulldogs with 67 receptions last season and was second with 831 receiving yards. He transferred from Georgia before the 2025 season.Jones is Mississippi State’s top cornerback who some outlets are projecting as a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
