The New Orleans Saints came out of Thursday’s practice with the Los Angeles Rams relatively unscathed, though three players were unable to finish the session. Saints head coach Kellen Moore told reporters after practice that right guard Cesar Ruiz, defensive lineman John Ridgeway, and cornerback Dalys Beanum were the three players who didn’t make it through the entire day. Wide receiver Chris Olave and Kaden Elliss were given rest days, but aren’t dealing with injuries.”Yeah, Cesar didn’t finish. He’s had a little ankle. We’ll see what that looks like,” Moore said. “Ridgeway didn’t finish, and Dalys Beanum didn’t finish. We’ll just keep an eye on those guys, but everyone else came out clean.”Ruiz’s situation was the only one Moore provided additional information on, identifying an ankle issue. The severity and whether it could impact his availability moving forward remain unclear, though. Ridgeway and Beanum will also be worth monitoring as the Saints approach their next preseason game. Moore didn’t specify what caused either player to leave practice or offer a timetable for their return.New Orleans will now have a chance to evaluate the three injuries before determining who will be available for their second preseason game. With the regular season getting closer now, the Saints will have every reason to be cautious with players dealing with even minor issues. This article originally appeared on Saints Wire: Kellen Moore shares injury updates after Saints-Rams practice
