Kentucky has officially entered the recruitment of one of the nation’s top rising stars.Five-star small forward Colton Hiller announced Tuesday on Instagram that he has received a scholarship offer from the Wildcats. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound standout from Coatesville High School in Pennsylvania is one of the premier prospects in the 2028 recruiting class.According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Hiller is the No. 2 overall player in the country, the No. 2 small forward, and the No. 1 prospect in Pennsylvania. His offer list already includes more than 25 schools, with Alabama, Auburn, BYU, Duke and several other national powers already in pursuit.Hiller has continued to raise his stock throughout the summer while playing up with the PSA Cardinals on the Nike EYBL 17U circuit. Despite competing against older talent, he averaged 18.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while helping lead his team to a 4-3 record through the first two sessions.Kentucky has made Hiller a priority early in the recruiting process. During the first live evaluation period of the summer, the Wildcats were front and center for his games as Mark Pope and his staff continued to evaluate one of the country’s most talented young prospects.Although Hiller still has plenty of high school basketball ahead of him, Kentucky has positioned itself among the growing list of blue-blood programs hoping to land one of the top players in the 2028 recruiting class.
