TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA – NOVEMBER 22: Michael Carroll #64 of the Alabama Crimson Tide looks on during pre-game warm ups before playing the Eastern Illinois Panthers at Bryant-Denny Stadium on November 22, 2025 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. (Photo by Jason Clark/Getty Images) | Getty Images The Kentucky Wildcats and the BBN are fired up as the Alabama Crimson Tide are in Lexington for a marquee Week 2 matchup at Kroger Field. The Cats are a trendy upset pick, and for good reason, as head coach Will Stein and his staff will have practically a full roster at their expense to knock off the Tide.On Wednesday night, we learned that Jovante Barnes, Malachi Wood, Terhyon Nichols, and Hasaan Sykes would return to the field after missing week one against Youngstown State. With three starters and a rotational running back returning, that already should make the BBN feel confident heading in. Add that in with no major changes to tonight’s injury report, and it should be a fun day in Lexington tomorrow. For Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide, they are not as lucky. They will be without wide receiver Noah Rogers for the second straight week. They will also be without starting offensive lineman Michael Carroll, as he has been downgraded from doubtful to out.Mix in these with the first road start for Keelon Russell, and it could be interesting for DeBoer and his squad inside Kroger Field.Time for the Cats to make some national noise and get the first signature win of the Will Stein era.
