Illinois’ first road game will be September 26th, in Columbus at 11 a.m. CT on Fox. The trip to face Ohio State will be the first one for the Illini in almost a decade. The last time the orange and blue played in the Shoe was in 2017. It will be the first road game this season for Bielema’s squad, after they wrap up non-conference play on Saturday against Southern Illinois. The game will also feature the Illibuck Trophy, which the Illini haven’t collected since 2007 when they beat the #1-ranked Buckeyes in Columbus.
