Klay Thompson, a five-time NBA All-Star and a four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, appears to be drawing trade interest. Thompson, a current member of the Mavericks, could potentially be moved as Dallas begins a youth movement headlined by recent No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg.According to the Miami Herald, Thompson has emerged as “a strong player of interest” to the Heat front office. Miami’s interest in Thompson is not dependent on landing LeBron James either, as the team needs more shooting to surround Giannis Antetokounmpo.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementA career 40.9% 3-point shooter, Thompson would certainly fill that need if he were to move on to his third team in the last four years. This article originally appeared on Warriors Wire: Klay Thompson drawing trade interest from championship-hopeful team
