Knicks Star Jalen Brunson Launches Brand Advisory With Focus Support

Focus Financial Partners is serving as financial advisor to Brunson, his family and the new firm. In addition to managing Brunson’s off-court business, Thirty Third Management Group will also represent clients across professional sports, business and philanthropy. Erica Brunson, Jalen’s sister and director of client services, will lead the firm’s initiative focused on women’s professional sports, an underserved area. Sandra Brunson, his mother, will serve as president of Thirty Third, which represents Jalen Brunson’s NBA draft pick in 2018. Connor Cashaw, a former professional basketball player who has been a part of Jalen’s team since 2025, has been appointed director of business development. “My family has been with me every step of the way, and everything we do is rooted in trust,” Jalen Brunson said in a statement. “Thirty Third gives us the chance to take ownership of my off-court business, to build something that reflects who we are, and to do it together.”“We are committed to helping our clients maximize opportunities, whether in professional sports, business, or philanthropy, and want to be a strategic partner that champions both success and significance,” Erica Brunson said in a statement.In June, the New York Knicks won their first NBA championship in 53 years. Jalen was unanimously named the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. The team was awarded more than $9 million, and it has been a win not only for Focus. Goldman Sachs’ wealth management business also counts some of the Knicks players as clients, according to Bloomberg. Matt Kennedy, a 6-foot-2 Villanova University graduate who spent years as a teammate of Knicks players Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges, is on that Goldman Sachs team.On X (formerly Twitter), Jalen Brunson confirmed that he was a wealth management client of Kennedy’s.
