​Knoxville Catholic utility DJ Lowery has committed to Louisville baseball for 2027, he announced through a social media post on July 16.”Proud to announce my commitment to the University of Louisville,” Lowery wrote on his X account.Lowery was a PrepXtra first team selection following the 2026 TSSAA baseball season. He won Offensive Player of the Year honors in the Division II-AA East Region with a .430 batting average, 49 hits, 38 RBIs, 12 home runs, nine doubles and four triples.
