Despite guiding the team into the UEFA Champions League last season, Genesio left once his contract expired, and he was succeeded by Davide Ancelotti. Before his arrival on Tuesday, Ancelotti was still tied to the Brazil national team, but with Brazil recent failures in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification, he has now moved to France and begun his work with LOSC.
Basar Onal’s transfer to Lille is anticipated to be finalized soon, with the player expected to join from NEC Nijmegen.
