But, we feel good long-term about him. We’re resting him for a little bit here and letting it calm down,” Campbell said.When asked whether LaPorta’s injury could be re-aggravated during the regular season, Campbell admitted that he does not know for now but remains hopeful that the tight end will be alright.“I don’t know,” he said. “I feel like we’ll be OK, but I don’t know.”LaPorta also suffered a season-ending back injury last season, limiting him to nine games as the Lions finished fourth in the NFC North.
