This weekend brings back the international karting action with a strong WSK Promotion program as the third and final round of the WSK Euro Series arrives at the Cremona Circuit, closing the chapter on the 2026 season’s category titles after the opening rounds in Viterbo and Lonato. The mid-summer event is set to be another crowded affair, with around 280 entrants across more than 50 nations competing in the MINI Under 10, MINI Gr3, OK-NJ, OK-N, OKJ, OK, and KZ2 classes.
The Lonato round last time around helped to highlight several championship contenders, making the standings more open than ever as the season reaches its decisive phase. The elevated points on offer for the Cremona round will be crucial, with a total of 153 points available across heats (13 points per heat with decreasing values), the Prefinals (60 points), and the Final in each category (80 points). In KZ2, Max Orlov (CPB Sport – Sodi/TM Kart/LeCont) currently leads the standings thanks to his Lonato victory, which allowed him to overtake Viterbo winner and teammate Dion Van Werven. The CPB Sport lineup will be bolstered in Cremona by the English driver Jenson Graham, who sits fourth in the standings, just behind German driver Max Schleimer (CL Racing/Team Renda – Birelart/TM Kart).
In OK, Indonesian driver Qarrar Firhand (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart/LeCont) holds the championship lead after a perfect result in Viterbo and a second place in Lonato, making him the favorite to take the title. Cremona will see several challengers step forward in this category, including American Nicola Stanley (MP Academy Gamoto – Henza/TM Kart), who is also in contention for a strong showing.
The OK-Junior field is set for a gripping battle, led by Czech driver Zdenek Babicek (Tepz Racing Team – Tony Kart/Iame/Vega) as he pursues the crown after a flawless run in Lonato. He is pursued by a talented group: Pole Leo Gorski, now racing with MP Motorsport in a Henza/TM Kart; Slovak Alex Molota (Hagemann Racing – Gillard/TM Kart); Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart); and Ukrainian Vsevolod Osadchyi-Suslovskyi (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame). All of them have the pace to contest top positions, with Italian Michele Orlando (DR – DR/Modena Engines), the Viterbo winner, eager to rebound from his Lonato result.
In the junior bracket, American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) travels to Cremona as one of the favorites after his Lonato success, but he will have his hands full with a strong field that includes Frenchman Sasha Miras Y Munoz (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) and Jack Wolff (KR Motorsport – KR), among others, all intent on seizing podium opportunities and the critical points on offer. Cremona’s final round promises to deliver decisive outcomes in each category, as drivers push hard to secure the 2026 WSK Euro Series titles.
