   ​July 16 (UPI) — Celebrity couples walked the red carpet at the 2026 ESPY Awards.NBA star Jalen Brunson and his wife, physical therapist Ali Marks, NFL star Myles Garrett and his girlfriend, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, and MLB star Justin Verlander and his wife, model Kate Upton, attended the ceremony Wednesday in New York.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe ESPYs is an annual awards show recognizing athletes and sports achievements. Comedian Marcello Hernández hosted this year’s event, where Garrett, a defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, won Best NFL Player and Best Record-Breaking Performance.Other couples at the awards show included NBA star Stephen Curry and his wife, actress Ayesha Curry, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, and boxer Jake Paul and his fiancée, Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam.Kim presented Garrett with his award for Best Record-Breaking Performance and gave her beau an on-stage kiss as he accepted the honor.Jalen Brunson (L) and Ali Marks attend the ESPY Awards on Wednesday.
