​BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — LSU fans gathered around Baton Rouge on Saturday to support the Tigers as they face Ole Miss in Oxford, marking LSU head coach Lane Kiffin’s first game against his former team since leaving the program.Kiffin spent six seasons as Ole Miss’ head coach before taking over at LSU.For some LSU fans, the matchup carried an extra level of excitement because of Kiffin’s history with Ole Miss.“There’s no chance they’re going to win after how they played the last couple of games. There’s no chance we lose this way,” said fan Dequan Perio. For one Baton Rouge native, Virginia Gill, the support for LSU is lifelong.“I’m rooting for LSU all the way. Since the day I was born.
