It was announced early this morning that he has signed a two-year deal to return to Spain and play in the EuroLeague. The 6’8” big man would have added great size, perimeter shooting, and obvious veteran leadership and experience from having played overseas. Santos was going to turn 24 before the start of the season had he decided to play for LSU. In 2023, he was the top scorer in the final of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup with Franca and has earned multiple All-Star honors in several leagues overseas. Will Wade held his press conference last week, and during that media availability, Wade stated that he has a good group. Wade seems to be confident in the team and the status of the players who will be able to suit up for the Tigers. As of this moment, the Tigers have not announced the full roster, with only four players listed as of today. Will Wade and the Tigers are set to have an exhibition game next Thursday against McNeese, so it’s safe to expect some answers regarding the roster sooner rather than later. How excited are you to have the General back leading the charge for the men’s basketball team? Are you concerned about the roster right now, or do you just trust in Wade? Share your thoughts in the comments.
