Lyon will learn their European fate on Wednesday as they host Fenerbahçe in a make-or-break Champions League playoffs return leg. Both sides are on equal terms after this week’s 1-1 draw in Turkey. Should they lose on Wednesday, Lyon would play in the Europa League group stage.Tavolieri adds that Fofana’s decision appears to be clear, with only nine days left for this summer’s transfer window. The Belgian was on the scoresheet on Saturday with Lyon winning 2-0 against Toulouse, despite Fonseca making wholesome changes in anticipation of Wednesday’s home clash against Fenerbahçe.
