Mark Henry Says THIS WWE Star Has ‘No Weaknesses,’ But It’s Not Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes

According to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, there is one current WWE star who possesses “no weaknesses.” That star, however, is not Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes. In recent years, Reigns and Rhodes have stood as two of the sport’s biggest names. Reigns has logged more WrestleMania main event appearances than anyone in the modern era, central to the storied Bloodline saga, and holding the longest WWE title reign of the contemporary period. Rhodes, in his pursuit to “finish the story,” crafted one of the most captivating arcs in recent memory, and since achieving that milestone at WrestleMania 40, he has become the face of the industry’s largest company.
Adding to their already elite status, Reigns and Rhodes also headlined WrestleMania back-to-back in 2023 and 2024, and they have been central figures in top-tier matches at the event for four consecutive years. They project an image of invincibility, serving as a blueprint for what modern wrestlers should aspire to become. Yet Henry believes there is room for another name in that exclusive circle: CM Punk.
“I think they see Punk as a star. He’s an unbelievable talent with a lot of upsides still. When you look at the match with Sami Zayn, and the clash with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, the man has no weakness. We always need to see that version of CM Punk. I want to see him more in WWE, not less.” — Mark Henry, via Casino.org
Even as he approaches his 48th birthday, Punk remains at a peak level of performance. He appears to be in the best shape of his career, and with nearly three decades spent around the business, he possesses an exceptional knack for storytelling—both inside and outside the ring. That rare ability helps explain why WWE’s creative team felt confident enough to place the WWE Championship on him this week, giving him a surprising win over Sami Zayn in his return after a multi-month hiatus. This move underscores Punk’s enduring value and the belief that his presence can elevate the brand and its marquee title.
