Milwaukee Admirals 2026-27 AHL schedule sets up a home ice playoff run

If the Milwaukee Admirals hope to challenge for the American Hockey League Central Division title, they’ve positioned themselves to clinch a playoff berth at home. The 2026-27 schedule, released on Thursday, shows the team set to play 12 of its final 16 regular-season games at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena over the last five weeks of the season, a setup that could give them a meaningful home-ice advantage come spring.
The campaign kicks with a pair of early dates already announced: a 6 p.m. start on Oct. 3 at the Rockford IceHogs and a 6 p.m. start on Oct. 10 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Arena. The regular season will wrap up on April 10 against the Chicago Wolves after a stretch that includes four straight home games. The Admirals will face four games each against three out-of-division opponents, in addition to several home-and-home series with other teams.
The early test comes fast, as the Colorado Eagles visit Milwaukee for a two-game set on Oct. 16-17. The teams last met in the 2023-24 season, and they’ll meet again in Loveland, Colorado, on Jan. 12-13. The schedule also includes a Jan. 8-9 series against the Ontario Reign in the Los Angeles area, followed by a home date on Feb. 12-13. The Reign have not faced Milwaukee since the 2018-19 season.
Halloween weekend brings a meeting with the Cleveland Monsters, who host the Admirals on Oct. 30-31 and then travel to Milwaukee for games on March 12-13. The Admirals also have home-and-home series with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (away on Nov. 18, home on Feb. 24), Hartford (home on Nov. 21, away on Feb. 2), and Providence (away on Nov. 22, home on March 26).
One stretch in particular stands out as potentially the most grueling: six games in 11 days from Nov. 18-28, with the first five on the road. That period is sure to test depth and resilience as Milwaukee navigates a heavy late-fall schedule.

The team’s next steps will be to translate this schedule into a consistent on-ice performance, secure a strong home record in the final months, and navigate the challenging road trips that lie ahead with depth and resilience.
