   ​Two Missouri baseball players and one standout local high school prospect heard their names called in the 2026 MLB Draft.The two Tigers heard their names called within six picks of each other in the fourth round of the 20-round draft, which was held July 11-12. In a team-high 79.1 innings pitched, McDevitt posted a 4.42 ERA and recorded 102 strikeouts.Durnin, who is from Linn Creek, Missouri, and transferred to the Tigers from Wichita State ahead of the 2026 campaign, posted a team-best .329 batting average and .438 on-base percentage in the 2026 campaign.
