​The MMCS All-Star senior league team advanced to the second round of the elimination bracket with a 10-0 win over DuBois in DuBois on Monday.After going scoreless in the first inning, MMCS scored four of its 10 runs in the bottom of the second, with Greyson Stevenson, Konnor Mascitti, Jared Grubbs and Santino Trenga all scoring.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementColton Redden had two RBI for MMCS. Landen Klink struck out two over 3.2 innings, walking two and allowing four hits.MMCS split its two games Sunday, defeating Chester Valley 6-2 in the first round before falling to Hanover Area 8-4 in the next round.Against Chester Valley, Gavin Reynolds doubled and had two RBI, while Klink had a double and an RBI. Mason Potosky tripled.Mascitti got the win for MMCS, striking out four over 2.1 innings and giving up one earned run on one hit.Against Hanover Area, Redden and Potosky both tripled and batted in three combined runs. Reynolds had two strikeouts and gave up two runs in the bottom of the second.The MMCS All-Stars will face Newville today at noon.
