ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) – Mount Union scored in the final seconds to stun Grove City, 21-17, after trailing by 10 in the second half.Watch the video above for highlights courtesy of Mount Union Athletics!Mount quarterback Mikey Maloney hit Mason Ashby for a 21-yard touchdown with just 12 seconds remaining. The Purple Raiders went 70 yards on 7 plays in 33 seconds to score the game-winning touchdown.After trialing 17-7, Mount got back within 3 after Maloney’s first touchdown pass to Kayden Minner late in the 3rd quarter.Despite the loss, the Grove City defense recorded 5 interceptions on the day. Noah Wheeler, Dominic DiNinno, Ryan Montgomery, Brayden Gerst and Cameron Epps all picked off a pass.Grove City wide receiver and Howland product John Perry finished second on the team with 40 yards and a TD as they fall to 0-2 on the season.
