ATLANTA, GEORGIA – OCTOBER 31: Chris Cole #9 of the Georgia Bulldogs recovers a fumble and rushes in for a touchdown during the second quarter against the Florida Gators at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on October 31, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Todd Kirkland/Getty Images) | Getty Images You don’t waltz onto the turf at Kirby Smart Field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and waltz off with a sixth straight victory over the Florida Gators without a total team effort. Still, on such a day as this some Bulldogs are bound to distinguish themselves above and beyond the rest. Those unbowed Bulldogs are your MVDs, the Most Valuable Dawgs from Georgia’s 27-8 win over the Florida Gators.Offense: Nate Frazier. 12 carries for 67 yards isn’t an eye-popping output. But he had a tough touchdown run and converted a key 3rd down. And Frazier ran all day like he was being shot out of a cannon. And he could be seen repeatedly exhorting the offensive line. Gunner Stockton’s also did just what was asked of him, and deserves strong consideration. But for my money Nate the Great was a difference maker.Defense: Chris Cole. Once again there is only one right answer. Cole finished with 9 tackles, 7 of them solo stops. He also had a sack, and of course, this:Tramell Jones made a business decision with Chris Cole coming downhill on him at the 40. pic.twitter.com/UJkg5rFzGx— Brandon Zimmerman (@BZSEC) October 31, 2026Special teams: Drew Miller. Miller has been a bit inconsistent in his first year as the starter, but today his first punt was a nice high kick that pinned the Gators inside the 20. Then he stood in and took a roughing the kicker penalty that moved the chains and set up a Bulldog touchdown. His last two kicks of the day were 60 yard-plus boomers that could have had a touch more hang time to help the coverage team out. But all in all it was a solid effort. As always we welcome your nominations in the comments, and…Go ‘Dawgs!!!
