NASCAR Cup Series at Atlanta: Starting lineup, TV schedule for today’s race

By admin — In News — July 12, 2026

Ryan Blaney will start from the pole position for the Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway, taking the top spot on Sunday. Blaney’s best lap in qualifying clocked in at 30.815 seconds, which was about a half-tenth faster than his Penske teammate Joey Logano, who secured the second-place position in the second round of qualifying the day before, as Penske secured the front row in a dominant qualifying performance. Notably, no Toyota teams cracked the top 10 in qualifying, as the manufacturers focused on race setup and handling rather than outright speed for qualifying.

Green Flag Time is approximately 6:15 p.m. Central Time on Sunday, July 12, at EchoPark Speedway, a 1.54-mile oval located in Hampton, Georgia. The race distance spans 260 laps, totaling 400.4 miles, with a two-intermission format consisting of three stages: 60 laps, 100 laps, and 100 laps. For television coverage, TNT will broadcast the Quaker State 400 nationally, while streaming options include HBO Max for the full broadcast with in-car cameras (subscription required). NASCAR.com and SiriusXM on Channel 90 provide audio coverage (subscription required). Radio coverage is provided by PRN.
The event is part of the buildup to the NASCAR Atlanta race weekend, with expert predictions and picks circulating for the Cup Series race. Blaney’s pole position continues a strong performance by Team Penske, who secured the front row as the field rolls off from EchoPark Speedway. While Blaney will lead the field to green, several contenders from Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Trackhouse Racing, and RFK Racing will look to challenge throughout the afternoon, aiming to convert qualifying speed into a competitive race pace suitable for a track that emphasizes handling and tire management over single-lap speed.
