   ​Compared to NASCAR’s February visit to its home track, the summertime visit is practically a drive-by.Instead of six races among four series, as we saw to open the 2026 season, this coming weekend features just two races, but those races feature the organization’s top two divisions — the Cup and O’Reilly Series. Friday will be the busiest day of the abbreviated two-day weekend, with two qualifying sessions followed by a race under the lights.But Saturday night remains the main event.
