Victor Wembanyama is back in France after leading the San Antonio Spurs to the NBA Finals. While his team failed to win the championship, he still received a lot of love from his countrymen.
The 7-foot-4 center entered a club wearing an off-white crewneck T-shirt. He completed his look with a thin silver chain necklace with a small, dark pendant. Wembanyama was showered with MVP chants.

Barstool Sports posted the moment on X. It has since gone viral with almost 300,000 views and generated a lot of fan reactions, mostly trolling the two-time All-Star.
“The MVP of what? Second place?” a reaction read.
“Does MVP in French mean big sore loser baby who doesn’t shake hands with the champion,” one fan said.
“Nice now he gets to cosplay as finals MVP,” a user wrote.
“He had to go to France for this lol,” posted another.
“MVP of being Brunson’s son maybe,” a comment read.
“I heard he only stayed for 36 min,” another fan commented.

Wembanyama averaged 26.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.6 blocks per game through five Finals games. He tried his best to will his team to victory, but Jalen Brunson and Co. were too much to handle. They lost four games after giving up double-digit leads, including a 29-point advantage in Game 4.
The Spurs have a young core and could contend for the title for years to come. The Finals defeat will only motivate Wembanyama to further improve his game and win a ring soon.
