Nebraska QB Anthony Colandrea named to On3’s best transfer list

   ​A Nebraska quarterback has been named one of the best transfers in the Big Ten. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea was ranked the 10th-most impactful transfer by On3’s Ari Wasserman (subscription required).Colandrea was brought into Lincoln in January. He was immediately thought of as a quarterback who could make an impact quickly, and appears to be the starting quarterback heading into the fall. He comes to Lincoln after spending last season with UNLV.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHe had tremendous success with the Rebels. The dual-threat quarterback recorded 3,459 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also proved effective rushing the football, tallying 649 yards and 10 touchdowns. Colandrea won the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year Award for his efforts.Now, he will look to stabilize the Huskers’ quarterback position, following the departure of Dylan Raiola to Oregon.
