Nebraska volleyball announces players at Big Ten Volleyball Media Day

   ​The Big Ten Conference announced the list of athletes scheduled to attend the fifth annual Big Ten Volleyball Media Day. Seniors Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson will represent Nebraska at the event and will join head coach Dani Busboom Kelly.Reilly compiled a tremendous junior campaign for the Huskers this past season, gaining a wide range of accolades. The First-Team All-American won AVCA Setter of the Year, Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Setter of the Year. Reilly is just the second Husker ever to win Big Ten Player of the Year and the second player in Big Ten history to be named Big Ten Setter of the Year three times.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementLast season, she averaged 10.47 assists per set, 2.70 digs per set and tallied 73 kills, 67 blocks and 19 aces. Reilly also guided the Huskers to a school-record .351 hitting percentage, which included nine matches with at least a .400 hitting percentage.Jackson is also coming off a massive junior year, being named the AVCA Middle Blocker of the Year and earning First-Team All-America honors for the second consecutive season. She led the nation with a .467 hitting percentage, which ranked third in program history for a single-season hitting percentage. Jackson recorded 2.74 kills per set and hit .559 to break the Big Ten record for hitting percentage in conference-only matches last season.Big Ten Volleyball Media Day is set for August 3 at Big Ten Network Studios.
