​Odds are the Atlanta Falcons won’t be making any more significant moves until the end of the preseason, when NFL teams cut their rosters from 90 players down to 53.With training camp set to start in two weeks, there are a couple of obvious roster holes that still need to be filled, though. For the Falcons he chose defensive tackle, with a note that wide receiver is just as important.”Wide receiver and defensive tackle are on similar footing. At receiver, the team added a few veterans, Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus, but those are the only proven commodities aside from Drake London. Atlanta drafted Zachariah Branch in the third round, but he may not be ready to run the full route tree… The Falcons flipped defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro for Maason Smith. The team also has Brandon Dorlus and Da’Shawn Hand at the position.”At wide receiver there are still several big names available in free agency – including that of Tyreek Hill – who seems to be hinting that he’d like a reunion with Tua Tagovailoa. Stefon Diggs, Deebo Samuel, Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins and Sterling Shepard may also be worth a look.At defensive tackle it’s another story. The few decent options are all well past their primes.
