The Miami Dolphins moved on from several of their best and brightest veterans this offseason after firing general manager Chris Grier midseason and head coach Mike McDaniel at the conclusion of their 7-10 campaign. With that, the Dolphins are heading into their first training camp under Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley, and their roster for the 2026 season is lacking a lot of top-end talent that fans would hope to see on the field on gameday.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIn fact, ESPN’s Bill Barnwell believes that the Dolphins only have three players that could fetch them a first-round pick in a trade. Let’s take a look at who those players are.Paul was Miami’s second-round pick (No. 55 overall) in the 2024 NFL after five years at Houston, where he earned All-Conference honors three times. The 24-year-old spent his rookie season as a swing tackle before taking over for Terron Armstead as the starter on the left side in 2025, where he started and played well in 17 games.Miami took Grant in the first round (No. 13 overall) of the 2025 NFL draft out of Michigan after winning a national championship and earning All-Big Ten honors twice and All-American honors once. As a rookie last year, he appeared in 17 games and finished with 33 tackles, five quarterback hits, two sacks and a pass defensed.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Dolphins Proctor in the first round (No. 12 overall) of this year’s draft out of Alabama, where he earned All-SEC and All-American honors once. He started 39 games at left tackle in college, but in the NFL, he’s moved inside to left guard to start his rookie campaign. This article originally appeared on Dolphins Wire: NFL analyst says only 3 Dolphins could fetch 1st-round pick in trade
