Across the league, the NFL’s top contenders continue to prove that elite defenses are built through dominant defensive lines, opportunistic secondaries and coordinators capable of maximizing both.The Eagles believe they belong in that conversation, and indeed they do. Vic Fangio’s defense returns one of football’s most talented young cores while adding proven veterans at key positions. The pieces are certainly in place for another deep playoff run.
