In Week 5, they will face the Chicago Bears, their oldest rivals and a team that mounted massive comeback wins in two of the three meetings between the franchises during the 2025 season. The third of those games, of course, came in the Wild Card playoff game at Soldier Field, when Chicago overcame a 21-3 Packers lead at halftime, scoring 25 points in the fourth quarter to win 31-27 and end the Packers’ season. This week’s game is by no means a “win or go home” situation, but it definitely will have a major impact on the NFC North race moving forward. The Packers have a chance to improve their record to 3-2 on the season and tie Chicago for second place in the division behind the Minnesota Vikings, keeping them squarely in the division race. A Bears win would drop the Packers to 2-3 and 0-2 in division games to start the season, all but sinking Green Bay’s hopes for an NFC North title this season.Tyson Bagent will start for the Bears at quarterback in place of Caleb Williams, but even so, the Bears are favored heading into Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field — according to FanDuel Sportsbook, the line is Bears -1.5. Will the Packers be able to earn a victory as a home underdog for the first time since Week 2 of the 2024 season? Or will Chicago continue their strong run of play?APC’s writers generally expect the latter to be the case.
