However, there is a possibility that John Harbaugh can give him a tryout with Jaxson Dart now being ruled out for the rest of the season.The current head coach of the New York Giants has shared a close relationship with Kaepernick for years, having coached him on the San Francisco 49ers, and even considered bringing him to the Baltimore Ravens while he was there.However, this might not go down well with New York Giants fans, who expressed their frustration and outright rejection of the idea.One fan wrote, “The Giants are already bad. A QB pushing 40 who hasn’t played in the league since Lil Wayne had all his dreads isn’t gonna help.”Another fan added, “The guy hasn’t played football in forever and never was good at it.”A third fan pointed to a historical pattern, noting, “Every d*** year people do this when a QB goes down. Give it up already, jeez!”“He’s 39 years old , hasn’t played in 10 years and last he did his team was 3-19 with him starting,” said a fourth fan pointing out Kaepernick’s lack of success.A fifth fan issued a very sarcastic response, writing, “Sure. They should sign Johnny football and Ray Rice while they’re at it. Teams love players that create a ton of distractions for their teams.”And lastly, one final fan suggested Kaepernick be given one final contract, noting, “Although I’m not in favor of watching him in the league… Why wouldn’t they at least have him signed and retired from the NFL, providing closure and what’s right and providing him future medical?”Clearly, even 10 years after his last game in the NFL, Colin Kaepernick is just as divisive a figure as he was in his final season in the NFL.So far, there is no word on whether Harbaugh will give Kaepernick a tryout to replace Jaxson Dart.
