​The Oklahoma Sooners’ availability report is lengthy on Wednesday evening as they head into the Red River Showdown. Several key contributors and starters are prominently featured on the list. Most notable is that the guy who was supposed to start at left tackle, Michael Fasusi, doesn’t look like he’ll be available again this week. He started for the Sooners against UTEP but has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury. Fasusi is doubtful for the Red River Showdown. Also in question is the status of starting left guard Eddy Pierre-Louis. Pierre-Louis was listed as questionable going into Saturday.Their presence on the availability report is just another week where the Sooners will have question marks along the offensive line. Joining the ranks of the unavailable this week are Xavier Robinson and Jacobe Johnson. Johnson suffered an injury during the loss to Georgia. Why Robinson isn’t available is anyone’s guess. He didn’t get much playing time against the Bulldogs, logging just three snaps after getting nine snaps the week before against Michigan. Along with Fasusi, who is doubtful, are reserve backup tight end Trynae Washington and backup offensive lineman Fred Hinton. Washington has been a piece of Oklahoma’s short-yardage formations, lining up in the backfield as a fullback for the Sooners. Names to watch as the week moves along include linebacker Cole Sullivan, wide receiver Jer’Michael Carter, safety Michael Boganowski, and tight end Jack Van Dorselaer. The Sooners need a spark this week if they want to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Sooners are 1-3 against the Texas Longhorns under Brent Venables, and the offense hasn’t scored a touchdown against their Red River rivals since 2023. Missing key members of the offensive line and the tight end room doesn’t bode well for the Sooners’ chances this Saturday.
