Pape Matar Sarr deletes Instagram posts about Spurs as he is told to leaveTottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has deleted all his posts related to the club from social media platform Instagram after he was told to leave. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have informed the Senegal international that he is on the transfer market, according to Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri. Spurs’ decision to tell Sarr to leave the North London club has not gone down well with him. His Instagram account is currently without any posts at all, and he has also removed anything associated with Tottenham in his bio.The 23-year-old is behind in manager Roberto De Zerbi’s pecking order following the arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali in the summer. He started 13 Premier League games last term, coming off the bench 13 other times. However, Spurs’ failure to qualify for Europe means Sarr will get fewer opportunities this season. Galatasaray are hoping to sign him and talks are ongoing over a deal. The Super Lig club have already submitted an €18 million bid for the midfielder, but it was rejected as Tottenham want at least €25m for him.Galatasaray are confident that they will soon reach an agreement with Sarr over personal terms. The player is nearing the exit at Spurs after four seasons, with the development on his social media a huge hint.
