Although Mahomes is mobile, he does not have to change direction on a dime as often as Seguin. Regardless, it is impressive to see the three-time Super Bowl MVP look so spry in his return game against the Denver Broncos. The decision to have surgery right after sustaining the injury is seemingly paying dividends.Seguin waited roughly two weeks after going down, but he is still making progress ahead of the Stars’ 2026 campaign. The Brampton, Ontario, Canada native is also more than three years older than Mahomes, so the body may not heal quite as fast. Hopefully, neither athlete has to endure such a grueling recovery period again.The Patrick Mahomes TD run certainly generated excitement, but perhaps Tyler Seguin can accomplish the same by diving for a loose puck or scoring in his first game back.
