​The longer the wait the better for New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who has now found his way on to the NFL Top 100 Players of 2026 list.Maye came in at No. 11 on the NFL 100 list this year, as the NFL announced on Friday.“I feel as though it’s the touch,” Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones said regarding what makes Maye a special player. “He’s able to make every throw that he needs to. You’ve got to have touch whenever you’re a quarterback in the National Football League.”This marks Maye’s debut on the NFL 100 list. The 23-year-old threw for 4,394 passing yards in 2025 and led the league in completion rate at 72 percent. Maye finished as the AP NFL MVP runner-up last season, which encapsulated just how great a year that he had individually.
