The PFL MENA 10 event took place on Friday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the 2026 Professional Fighters League featherweight and welterweight tournaments continued. History was made in the main event when rising star Hattan Alsaif faced Dania Ouhachi, marking the first ever female headliner in Saudi Arabia. The fight lived up to the hype as half of the 10-fight card concluded before the final bell, with Alsaif delivering a second-round technical knockout over Ouhachi to send the hometown crowd into a frenzy. Alsaif has been in the spotlight since joining the organization, having won all four of her amateur bouts prior to her professional debut on Friday.
The co-main event carried plenty of intensity, as Hazem Kayyali and Hassan Shaaban clashed amid ongoing tensions from their week-long battles in the fighter hotel. Kayyali earned the final word in their rivalry with a unanimous decision, advancing to the semifinals. He is set to meet Badreddine Diani, a 2025 PFL MENA finalist, who moved back into the semifinals after securing a unanimous decision victory over Yousef Adel.
On the opposite side of the welterweight bracket, Abdelkrim Zouad faces Omar Hussein, each securing finishes in their quarterfinals. Hussein had a tougher path, having been eliminated early in the 2025 PFL MENA tournament, while Zouad celebrated his first year with the promotion by reaching the semifinals with a stoppage win. In featherweight action, Shadi Kabbani continued his unbeaten run, improving to 4-0 with his first PFL MENA win. He defeated veteran Ahmed Tarek by unanimous decision, handing Tarek the second loss of his professional career.
One of the standout performances of the night came in the featherweight division, where Elias Boudegzdame delivered a first-round submission over Hussein Salem, showcasing his all-around skills and making a strong statement in the tournament. The event delivered a mix of dominant finishes, strategic decisions, and breakout performances, underscoring the growing depth and talent within the PFL MENA division as the 2026 season advances. This Riyadh card not only highlighted elite competition but also reinforced the league’s commitment to expanding opportunities for female fighters and elevating perception of MMA in the Middle East, setting the stage for even bigger matchups and rivalries as the brackets move toward the semifinals and beyond.
