UFC
332 comes with a slate of nine prelims featuring some
interesting matchups. The featured spot sees two rising flyweights
square off, as Imanol
Rodriguez and Alden Coria
each look to avoid their first
Ultimate Fighting Championship loss. Talented prospects such as
Damian
Pinas, Anthony
Wint and Jacobe
Smith are all back in action, but the most important stakes
might belong to a few veterans deeper down the card, as Johnny
Walker, Rafael dos
Anjos and Marvin
Vettori all look to prove that they’re still relevant. And
given that the UFC is back in Utah, it’s unsurprising to see
Court
McGee on the card, as he has his retirement fight against
Eric
Nolan.UFC 332 prelims feature Rodriguez-Coria, Johnny Walker’s

Some strong matchmaking here, as two of the UFC’s best flyweight
prospects square off. Imanol
Rodriguez was tabbed as one of the prospects to watch when the
2025 edition of TUF was announced, and it was easy to see why;
blessed with a physique befitting his “Himan” nickname, Rodriguez
was an absolute terror who ran through his opponents with an
impressive combination of striking and grappling. Even though
Rodriguez was eliminated in the semifinal, he still lived up to the
hype in a way; he fought eventual winner Joseph
Morales to a coin flip of a decision, and Morales has since
established himself as roughly a Top-10 UFC flyweight. As for
Rodriguez, the UFC quickly rebooked him on the Contender Series for
what turned out to be a quick win, and his proper UFC debut this
past February was also quite impressive; he ran into some sharp
offense from Kevin
Borjas but showed the ability to regroup and eventually find
the finish in the second round.
Up next for Rodriguez is a potentially tough matchup against Texas’
Alden
Coria, who has had a successful UFC career thus far despite
entering with little in the way of expectations. Coria’s
late-notice UFC debut about a year ago was basically an
afterthought, though he showed up in impressive fashion, taking
apart consistent veteran Alessandro
Costa en route to a third-round stoppage. But “Cobra” has had a
strange 2026, both in terms of matchmaking and performances; the
UFC has seemingly moved him down the ladder with matchups against
Luis
Gurule and Stewart
Nicoll, and Coria has looked fine but not outstanding.
Both fights were clear Coria victories but showed that he might not
be the most dynamic force when an opponent doesn’t provide much
opportunity. He can be sharp when an opponent decides to lead but
doesn’t do much to break the fight open in a slower-paced affair.
That won’t be a worry here against an aggressive wrecking ball like
Rodriguez, and this is basically a coin flip; Rodriguez has a clear
advantage in terms of horsepower, but Coria is accurate and dogged
enough to stand his ground and cause a ton of damage if Rodriguez
