Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby had some choice words for Charger fans.In a recent appearance on N3on’s stream, Crosby was asked which fan base is the most toxic. Without hesitation, the Pro Bowl edge rusher said it was Charger fans.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement“I think the Chargers low key,” Crosby said. “Chargers do because they got a smaller fan base. They started in San Diego, so it’s like more, it’s more, you know, they’re not really an LA team. They’re not from LA. So, their fans like feel like they need to be louder because they don’t have as many. [They] don’t have numbers like us [Raiders] so they’re real toxic.”I respect it though because like if it pisses me off that means they’re probably doing a pretty good job of talking sh*t and they don’t stop.”The 28-year-old went on to say that he believes Charger fans overcompensated because they don’t have the same number of fans as franchises with larger followings.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementCrosby has played against the Chargers 13 times in his seven-year career. In those games, he has certainly made his mark, recording 36 solo tackles, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble.Per usual, the Chargers and Raiders will face off twice this upcoming season. The first matchup will be in Week 2 at SoFi Stadium.Their second and final matchup of the regular season will be on December 13, Week 4, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Chargers will look to sweep their most hated rival as they did in 2025. Los Angeles’ defense put the clamps on the Raiders’ offense, allowing just 23 total points across the two matchups.Crosby just added more fuel to the already bitter rivalry, which runs deep due to geographical tensions and fierce fan bases.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThis article originally appeared on Chargers Wire: Raiders’ Maxx Crosby fires shots at Chargers fans
