Despite being in the midst of the MLB All-Star break, the Texas Rangers made some news on Wednesday afternoon. The Rangers officially announced a change in the way that some fans will watch the team play in the second half.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementEffective immediately, the Rangers and Rangers Sports Network have announced BZZR (pronounced “buzzer”), the first verified all-sports digital and content platform, as the new direct-to-consumer distributor for the club’s televised game broadcasts. This means that Victory+ will no longer broadcast Rangers games. Prior to the 2025 season, Victory+ became the official direct-to-consumer distributor after the launch of Rangers Sports Network.Fans who have paid for subscriptions to Victory + on a season-long or monthly basis will have their subscriptions transferred to BZZR.Former Victory+ customers should have already received an email prompting them to create a BZZR account and authenticate their subscription. Fans can also provide proof of purchase using a Victory+ receipt or credit card statement on the BZZR website.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementBroadcasts on cable, satellite, or over-the-air providers will all continue uninterrupted as they have since Rangers Sports Network launched.“When Rangers Sports Network was launched in January 2025, we committed to providing our fans with the highest-quality options to watch our games,” said Chairman of Rangers Sports Media & Entertainment Company Neil Leibman.“It is unfortunate that this switch in direct-to-consumer distributors was necessary, but the decision was made in the best interest of both the Rangers and our fans,” Leibman continued. “RSN is committed to continued delivery of the highest-quality game broadcast possible, and we feel BZZR is well-positioned to manage a seamless transition.”“We’re honored that the Texas Rangers have chosen BZZR as their direct-to-consumer streaming partner” said Jeff Bookout, Founder and Chairman of the Board at BZZR.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement“Together, we’re creating a platform that gives fans unprecedented access while helping teams build deeper, year-round relationships with their audiences. We believe this represents the next evolution of sports streaming,” Bookout said. “Fans want access, community, and connection to the game they love, and that’s what we deliver.”According to a release put out by the Rangers, BZZR is “reimagining the future of sports media as the first verified all-sports digital platform, uniting live games, creator-driven content, and real-time fan community in one destination.“By giving athletes, personalities, and teams full control of their content, audience, and revenue, BZZR creates new opportunities for creators while delivering fans exclusive content, behind-the-scenes coverage, direct athlete engagement, daily programming, and premium experiences unlike anywhere else.”For assistance with transferring a Victory+ subscription t
