Week 2 was much more competitive than Week 1 around college football. Several upsets shook up the slate, while a few teams pulled off convincing wins despite not looking particularly sharp.Texas A&M’s offense remains a work in progress, but it showed some encouraging signs in its 48-20 win over Arizona State. First, Terry Bussey is coming into his own and appears ready to play a major role in replacing the all-purpose production of first-round NFL draft pick KC Concepcion. Second, Isaiah Horton has established himself as a legitimate red-zone threat, providing a major boost in an area where the Aggies struggled last season. On the opponent front, LSU and Alabama both overcame slow starts before pulling away for convincing victories.
