Lamar Jackson could not resist joining the celebrations after the Knicks’ stunning NBA Finals comeback turned New York into one giant street party.

His appearance summed up the mood perfectly. Another star swept up in the excitement as the Knicks moved to within one win of their first championship since 1973.
Jackson was not on the official celebrity guest list for Madison Square Garden, but outside the arena, he fit right in with the wave of fans filling the streets.
The Knicks had just beaten the Spurs 107-106, erasing a 29-point deficit, the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history. OG Anunoby’s tip-in with 1.2 seconds left put New York up 3-1 in the series.
For Jackson, the trip to New York came during a busy Ravens offseason. Baltimore recently restructured his contract to free up significant cap space, and he has already reported for voluntary workouts under new head coach Jesse Minter.

Jackson’s presence highlighted how far the Knicks’ Finals run has reached beyond basketball.
Game 3 had already drawn the likes of President Donald Trump, New York mayor Zohran Mamdani, Spike Lee, and Ben Stiller to the Garden.
Game 4 took it up another level, with Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Larry David, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Fat Joe, Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Fallon, Mariska Hargitay and Patrick Ewing all reported around MSG.

The Knicks have always attracted big names, but this playoff run has made every home game feel like a citywide celebration.

It was not just any night in New York. It was the night the Knicks pulled off the greatest comeback the NBA Finals have ever seen.
Fans poured into streets, bars, bodegas, and subway stations after the win, chanting as if the title had already arrived.
It has not yet. Game 5 is in San Antonio, and the Spurs still have Victor Wembanyama. But New York can now see the finish line, and Jackson looked happy to be part of the noise.
